Edition. Emac is collaborating as a sponsor in the Festival della Mente in Sarzana, Italy.
The Festival della Mente is the first European festival dedicated to creativity and creative thoughts. It is set in Sarzana in late summer under the scientific direction of Gustavo Pietropolli Charmet and the artistic direction of Benedetta Marietti.
The festival is sponsored by Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio della Spezia and the municipality of Sarzana. It will be three days of Italian and international speakers, with a range of talks, meetings, readings, shows, workshops and cultural debates, all meant to discuss the changes, energies and hopes of our modern society, with a vast audience spanning different generations, which is the real strength of the festival.
The program includes a whole section dedicated to children and teenagers, designed with the collaboration of Carispezia-Gruppo Cariparma Crédit Agricole and curated by Chicca Gagliardo. Essential is the work of all the young volunteers – more than 500 every year – who help in establishing the welcoming and open climate that always characterizes the festival. This festival has been directed from 2004 to 2007 by Giuia Cogoli and Raffaele Cardone, and from 2008 to 2013 by Giulia Cogoli alone.
