This course is specifically focused for students to develop practical skills related to CVC through visual aid and simulation of ultrasound-guided injection techniques and cannulation of venous vases.
This is the first course in Italy to be able to simulate complications caused by medical practice: a highly advanced mannequin will be used by three students simultaneously to practice clinical emergency.
The setting up of the advanced SimMan 3g simulator, provided with many possible functions, enables for the simulation of anything that might occur to the nephrologist while performing catheterization. A whole range of scenarios and cases will be presented to the students. At the end of each scenario a debriefing sessions will take place, including a plenary discussion over the recorded material which will be played on screen.
Such an advanced simulation is the best possible way to provide high level education and training for students.
